Tom Cruise, rescue his locker hook in "Oblivion"

Tom Cruise, one of Hollywood's biggest stars over the past 30 years, comes to the rescue of his hook at the box office with "Oblivion" after the failure of "Rock of Ages" and the warm welcome of "Jack Reacher", a new mission career that has little of "impossible" as evidence.
The film, which has arrived this weekend to 51 countries before it is displayed in the American theaters Friday, is expected to raise about $ 35 million in its North American premiere, which Cruise would give his best start in the U.S. since "Mission: Impossible III" (2006).

"Oblivion", directed by Joseph Kosinski and Cruise starring with Morgan Freeman, Olga Kurylenko, Andrea Riseborough and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, proposes a science fiction and high visual bill imposing, with a theme that takes the viewer to an Earth postapocalyptic where the hero (Cruise) faces a journey of redemption and discovery as they struggle to save humanity.

This period coincided with the profound disappointment of the musical "Rock of Ages" (his locker was $ 56 million against a budget of at least 75 million) in summer and host of irregular action film "Jack Reacher" (216 million, 63 percent arrived from overseas) last Christmas.
But the actor of 50 years has taken action on the matter.
