Dies at 82 years director film Jesus Franco

The Madrid filmmaker Jesus Franco, who received the Honorary Goya Film Academy in 2008, died Tuesday in Malaga, Spain, after being hospitalized on Wednesday after suffering a hit.
The filmmaker was admitted to the Clinic Pascual of Malaga, and died this morning, said the director Kike Mesa, who in 2007 filmed the documentary "Jesus Franco. Way of life".

Mesa, which in recent years maintained a close personal and professional relationship with Franco said he remained semiconscious in recent days and could not enjoy one of his passions, cigarette.

Deeply affected by the death last year of "his wife, lover, secretary and diva" actress Lina Romay, the filmmaker wanted to live "in a permanent shooting" until the last moment, and indeed directed his last tapes summer.

In 2011 appeared publicly one of its projects, to shoot a Cooperative "The foreigner scared," I wanted to show, in his own words, "to do movies without being a crook and no fool anyone."

Jesus Franco described  himself as one of the most prolific directors in the history of world cinema, with a history of nearly two hundred films, mostly horror, eroticism, pornography, science fiction or adventure, and was considered a pioneer of fantasy films Spanish.
